Divisional Vice President of Marketing
About the Role:
Divisional Vice President of Marketing is a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives to drive traffic growth, brand awareness, and customer loyalty within their assigned division. You will lead a team of Regional and Area Directors of Marketing in implementing marketing plans and ensuring brand standards are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for assigned division, including Neighborhood Marketing, Media & PR, Sponsorships, and local store marketing plans.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting department to source, select, and hire qualified Regional and Area Directors of Marketing.
- Coach and mentor Regional and Area Managers to ensure alignment with company brand and marketing philosophies.
- Partner with the Divisional VP of Restaurants to establish clear, measurable goals aligned with business priorities.
- Manage and execute restaurant marketing strategies to achieve company and business unit goals.
- Identify and leverage customer insights to develop effective local store marketing plans.
- Partner with the Director of Media Planning to ensure marketing strategies are correctly executed across market areas.
- Oversee sponsorship opportunities and manage regional sponsorships and budgets.
- Implement New Restaurant Openings and New Market Entry strategies.
- Lead the development and execution of system-wide marketing campaigns and programs.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Regional and Area Director of Marketing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing & Communications degree preferred.
- 10+ years of marketing experience.
- Proven experience leading high-performing marketing teams.
- Demonstrated success in field marketing within a multi-unit restaurant/retail environment.
- Experience working with media and sponsorships, including establishing and maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, implementing assets, and assessing impact.
- Experience with New Restaurant Openings and New Market Entry strategy development and implementation.
- Expertise in core marketing concepts.
- Ability to travel 50-70% within designated area.
