Director of Operations
About the Role:
The Director of Operations plays a critical role in leading and supporting our General Managers to achieve company goals. You will provide strategic direction, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the profitability, training, customer experience, and product quality of all restaurants within your assigned area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of General Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the overall business plan of the area.
- Ensure all restaurants meet company standards for profitability, training, guest experience, and product quality.
- Partner with General Managers to identify and address operational challenges in their units.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Training, and Recruiting teams to ensure alignment and effectiveness of their initiatives within your area.
- Oversee personnel management for your area, including compensation, performance reviews, and expense management.
- Contribute to the recruitment process to ensure new hires embody the company’s core values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of operations experience in the restaurant industry (retail experience a plus).
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including profitability, guest satisfaction, and product quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and foster collaboration.
- Data-driven and analytical, with the ability to make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong work ethic with a “hands-on” leadership approach.
