Area Marketing Manager

About the Opportunity:

In our company, we provide comprehensive support to our restaurants through both Business Unit and RSO assistance. Business Unit Support Crewmembers are assigned to specific regions, markets, or areas, comprising teams of experts in various disciplines. These teams, led by seasoned professionals, oversee hiring, training, personnel management, and functional routines for Business Unit Crewmembers.

The Business Unit Leader directs the Business Unit Team, in alignment with Department/Function leaders, determining and prioritizing day-to-day tasks. Setting goals in line with company objectives ensures a unified approach and clear priorities across the team. Leveraging their expertise, Business Unit Crewmembers craft strategies to meet unit goals.

Restaurant Marketing involves executing the brand and marketing strategy through localized marketing, media, sponsorships, and community involvement initiatives.

The Area Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing plans at the restaurant and DMA levels, driving customer traffic and brand loyalty while adhering to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities: 

Supporting Restaurants:

  • Collaborates with Business Unit leaders to evaluate each restaurant’s marketing readiness and establish support strategies.
  • Trains new operators in the Restaurant Marketing System and provides ongoing support for new initiatives.
  • Enforces brand standards and marketing philosophies.

Supporting Business Units:

  • Develops and executes marketing plans aligned with specific Business Unit objectives.
  • Measures marketing effectiveness and recommends adjustments.

Supporting Functions:

  • Participates in training sessions for new and existing marketing programs.
  • Identifies restaurant support needs to inform RSO projects and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing & Communications) or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience required
  • Experience in Area Marketing in a multi-unit restaurant/retail environment
  • Experience with media and sponsorships
  • Required to live within assigned Region, Area, or Market
  • Ability to travel 50-70% within designated area
  • Valid driver’s license
