Vice President of Brand Activations
About the Opportunity
This exciting role leads the development and execution of all brand activation initiatives. You will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive strategy, securing talent, managing budgets, and leading a team to deliver impactful experiences that elevate brand awareness and support marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a strategic brand activation plan that aligns with overall marketing objectives.
- Identify, negotiate, and secure talent for brand activations, obtaining necessary approvals from leadership.
- Lead the communication and approval process for brand activation plans with senior leadership.
- Make key decisions and solve problems throughout the brand activation process, both during planning and execution.
- Oversee a team responsible for executing brand activations from concept to completion, while fostering professional development for team members.
- Collaborate with various marketing teams to ensure brand activation results are effectively measured and communicated to leadership.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in event and experiential marketing, ensuring brand activations remain innovative and impactful.
- Possess a strong understanding of pop culture and integrate the brand into relevant trends and moments.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or a related field (prior experience in brand activation a plus).
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating large contracts with celebrities and talent.
- Working knowledge of SAG requirements and other legal considerations for brand activations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, evolving priorities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly energetic with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to capitalize on trending opportunities.
- Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field required.
